Justine joined the team at Linder Myers in September 2021 as a Solicitor in our Family department.
Before qualifying in 2009, Justine had previously worked as a family paralegal in 2006 before being offered a training contract in 2007. It was during this time Justine knew family law was the area she wanted to specialise within.
Justine has over 15 years worth of experience in family law having handled a wide range of over 600 cases during that time.Justine specialises in family law related matters including divorce/dissolution of marriage, separation and co-habitational disputes, pre and post nuptial agreements, as well as related financial matters in respect of separation and/or divorce.
Justine is also able to advise on aspects of child related matters having dealt with a wide range of matters concerning where a child is to live, contact arrangements, relocation of child whether that be in or outside of the jurisdiction, specific issues, for example, Justine has previously represented applicants on separate issues concerning disputes over medical care; educational needs of a child.
Justine is a member of Resolution, which is an organisation whose members consist of family justice professionals that work with families and individuals to resolve issues in a constructive way.
Justine is on the Cheshire & North Wales Resolution Regional Committee having previously held the position of Chair for some three years before stepping down in 2019. She also sits on the Executive Council of Chester Business Club which helps, amongst other things, to organise events that help to raise money for charity, as well as provide networking opportunities and support for local businesses.
Justine likes to travel but equally likes to be at home surrounded by, and spending time with, family and friends. Justine enjoys socialising, going out for meals, the theatre or to concerts, and at home enjoys gardening and cooking in her spare time.
