Andrew McBride has in excess of 30 years’ experience and leads Linder Myers’ personal injury department. His areas of personal expertise are brain and catastrophic injury cases.
Andrew has worked on a number of notable and high value cases to the value of in excess of £1 million including settlements made up of lump sums and periodical payments. He brought one of the first litigated cases under the Package Travel Regulations which gained national publicity.
Andrew is a member of the Law Society’s Personal Injury Panel and the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers where he has assisted in the production of submissions to the Law Commission. The firm was also a founder member of Injury Lawyers4U.
Andrew is married with three children and lives in Cheshire. He holds a Manchester United season ticket and regularly plays golf. Andrew enjoys travel, particularly when it involves good food and wine, modern literature and walking his dog (usually in the rain).
Andrew sums up his approach to work by stating: “attention to detail gets results”. He also cites the importance of client relationships, “making sure you understand your client and that your client understands you”.
