Linder Myers to offer franchising advice at The Giant’s Shoulders event

Linder Myers’ senior partner Bernard Seymour will be one of the key speakers at the Your Franchising Journey Made Easy event taking place at the Park Inn by Radisson in Manchester on Thursday 18th September between 6pm – 8.30pm.

Aimed at individuals who are considering business ownership as an alternative career or investment, the event is being hosted by The Giant’s Shoulders, a collaboration between three unique companies all of whom work within the franchising sector, Mr Franchise, Engage Web, and Kate Mackenzie Events.

A commercial litigation lawyer by background, Bernard Seymour has enjoyed an extensive and varied career including acting as Deputy District Judge for the Northern circuit and holding the post of managing partner at Linder Myers Solicitors for 14 years.

Bernard Seymour has throughout his career advised a number of national and local organisations in relation to their business structure, growing their client base and entering new markets.

Commenting on the event Bernard Seymour, senior partner at Linder Myers said: “Franchising is becoming an increasingly attractive option within an economic climate where many individuals are looking for alternative investment opportunities or simply looking for a change of career perhaps following redundancy.

“Owning a franchise business provides individuals with the opportunity to take on an existing and successful brand and make it their own without the risk of starting a new business from scratch. This event brings together like minded individuals and experts, and I look forward to helping today’s entrepreneurs along their future journey to franchising.”

Kate Mackenzie, a former lawyer and managing director at Kate Mackenzie Events said on behalf of The Giant’s Shoulders: “Many of us reach a crossroads in our careers and the aim of our event is to help those who are thinking about stepping out into business ownership to feel empowered to take that step via a very well proven model – franchising.”
