Linder Myers’ expertise spans shareholder and partnership cases, high-value professional negligence claims, and contractual, banking and property-related disputes. Team head Peter Kaye brings ‘a wealth of experience’ and is adept at complex High Court and County Court litigation cases, and often acts for overseas clients on complex, cross-jurisdiction issues. Clinical negligence: claimant

At Linder Myers the ‘careful but compassionate’ Sarah Sedge specialises in ophthalmology, cosmetic surgery, obstetrics and general surgery cases. It fields a large and specialist team that advises on the full spectrum of complex claims and works closely with its Court of Protection department. Areas of specialism include high-value brain injury and birth injury claims coupled with delayed diagnosis and GP negligence cases. Julia Bridges and Sion Wynne are also recommended.

Personal injury: claimant

Its excellent niche occupational disease practice, which specialises in asbestos cases is singled out for particular praise. Jon Andrews has a ‘dogged yet affable determination to support each client in their claim; he is a star performer, a great negotiator and is very tenacious in the pursuit of a successful resolution of the most difficult cases’. Andrews is adept at handling all aspects of mesothelioma claims in addition to asbestos-related lung claims. The team at Linder Myers is adept at handling the full array of trusts and estates work and regularly advises on tax planning and estate matters for farmers and landowners, in addition to handling issues affecting the elderly. Andrew Cusworth is experienced in advising on tax planning, wills and trusts.
