Julia joined Linder Myers in 1997, becoming an associate in 1998 and a Principal Lawyer in 2001.
Julia is based in Linder Myers’ Manchester office, although she represents clients both throughout England and Wales and those who reside overseas.

Julia has practised exclusively in claimant clinical negligence work since qualifying as a solicitor in 1994. She has extensive experience of a broad range of clinical negligence claims including GP negligence, oncology, anaesthetic and orthopaedic cases. Her particular interest is in obstetric cases of maximum severity which she has successfully taken to trial (Lee Kingsberry -v- Greater Manchester Strategic Health Authority 
EWHC 2283 QB) and high value paediatric neurology cases. She has been involved in high profile multi-party actions including Myodil and ex-servicemen suffering PTSD.
In one example of Julia’s success for clients, she obtained damages in excess of £3 million plus substantial annual payments for life. In another recent case, she obtained damages which include a substantial lump sum and periodical payments which are estimated to value £10 million over her client’s lifetime.
Julia has been accredited as a member of the Law Society’s Clinical Negligence panel since May 2000 and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine. She also serves as an Independent Funding and Costs Assessor for the Legal Aid Agency.
