Chris is a Senior Paralegal in the Court of Protection Department dealing with deputyship and personal injury trust clients. Since joining the department in 2014 he has built up his experience and specialism in the management of deputyship affairs for brain injured and elderly clients who lack capacity. Chris has Headway certificates in ‘Understanding Brain Injury’ and ‘Promoting Recovery after Brain Injury.’ Chris is able to support and work well with clients and their families who display challenging or aggressive behaviours and from difficult backgrounds, from drug and alcohol addiction, broken family homes and volatile circumstances. Chris remains calm, professional and supportive at all times and his professional composure is relied on by family, carers and others, pulling together to act in the individual’s best interests. Chris also deals with deputyship applications to court, to appoint family members as lay deputies, hand-holding them throughout the court process and appointment.
Chris recently had a daughter in the Summer and in his spare time, follows Man United home, away and in Europe. He also enjoys attending the Gym.
