1. The information we collect and how we use it.

We collect three types of information: completed enquiry forms, newsletter registration and site usage information from log files.

  • Completed enquiry forms are passed to the relevant legal department who will then contact you to discuss your query further. All information contained within the form is treated as confidential. Your details will not be added to our marketing database.
  • Newsletter registration forms are passed to the Marketing Manager who will then add your details to the newsletter database. You will then receive the newsletter requested on a regular basis. Should you wish to stop receiving newsletters simply send an e-mail with ‘unsubscribe’ in the subject field to marketing@lindermyers.co.uk We may also use your details to inform you of new products and services that may be of interest to you.

We do not pass your information to third parties.

2. Our use of cookies and other information gathering technologies

Server Logs

Information gathered through server logs and processed by log analysis tools includes the date and time of visits, IP address of the visitor, pages viewed, time spent at our web site and possibly the web site which brought you to our site if you clicked on a hyperlink. This information is analysed on an aggregate basis to provide summary statistics for the purpose of evaluating the use made of the site and to identify system performance or problem areas. None of this information is associated with you as an identifiable individual. In particular, we do not connect these visit statistics with any information you might provide while using the site.

We do not use "cookies" to collect information.

3. How we protect your information

The internet is not a secure medium. However, we have put in place various security procedures as set out in this policy. This site uses a secure server for submission of forms containing personal information. All information that you transmit to us will be protected by 128-bit encryption technology, provided your browser is properly configured and your computer is operating properly. You can determine whether you are on a secure site by looking at the symbol at the bottom of your browser screen. You can be sure you are using a secure server if the key is unbroken or the lock is locked.

Storage of Information

Some information you submit in forms on this site may be stored on the server solely to allow initial processing of your submission by Linder Myers. As soon as this processing has been completed, all your information is permanently deleted from the server and stored by Linder Myers in our own secure premises.

4. Updating your details

If any of the information that you have provided to Linder Myers Solicitors changes, for example if you change your e-mail address or if you wish to unsubscribe from our newsletter service please let us know by sending an e-mail to marketing@lindermyers.co.uk

5. Your consent

By submitting your information you consent to the use of that information as set out in this policy. If we change our privacy policy we will post the changes on this page. Continued use of the service will signify that you agree to such changes.

6. What happens when you link to other sites

This privacy policy relates solely to Linder Myers website, so you should always be aware when you are moving to another site and read the privacy policy of any site which collects personal information.

7. Virus Protection

We make every effort to check and test material at all stages of production. It is always wise for you to run an anti-virus program on all material downloaded from the internet. We cannot accept responsibility for any loss, disruption or damage to your data or your computer system which may occur whilst using material downloaded from this website.
