Peter Kaye | Partner
Peter joined Linder Myers in 1998 and is a Partner in the Commercial Litigation department. He leads the team in the Manchester office, and also spends some time working from the Lancashire office.
Peter has over 25 years experience of dealing with commercial litigation cases and has a wealth of experience in dealing with complex High Court/County Court litigation.
Peter specialises in:
- Disputed Probate and Inheritance Claims.
- Property disputes, boundary disputes, landlord and tenant issues, construction disputes and dilapidations claims.
- Disputes between company shareholders.
- Partnership disputes.
- Claims requiring urgent injunctions.
- General contract and consumer disputes.
- Disputed debt matters ranging from relatively small sums up to multi million pound claims.

- Taking over a shareholder dispute relating to a family company that has been ongoing for 6 years. Achieving a favourable settlement within 19 days.
- Successfully acting for Executors in opposing multiple claims by family members for a share of the Estate.
- Successfully representing a "grandchild" in a claim against the Estate of his grandparent involving complex issues surrounding the legal definition as to whether the ''grandchild'' was treated as a child of the family
- Representing clients in complex boundary disputes on residential, commercial and agricultural land

Peter also often represents clients from overseas due to his involvement with the international legal network, Consulegis of which Linder Myers is a member. Also represents clients in pursuing claims outside the UK. In particular, Peter has been involved in a major international dispute concerning Timeshare organisations throughout Europe.
Peter is married and lives in Hale, Cheshire. He has two children, both of whom are at University. Peter enjoys golf; he is is the competition secretary at his club, cycling, theatre, and spending time at his holiday home in Majorca.
He shares a famous namesake, who he comments has become ‘the bane of my life’.
