Mark Pickering | Senior Litigation Executive
Mark joined Linder Myers in May 2009 and now deals with the full spectrum of compensation claims in the medical negligence department. He has over 17 years experience within the litigation field.
Mark specialises in claims for:
- anaethetist error
- transmissed diagnosis
- breast cancer misdiagnosis
- amputation
- ophthalmic care
- psychiatric treatment
- wrongful treatment of meningitis
- fatal/ death claims
Mark solely represents claimants in clinical and dental negligence claims, arising from NHS and private treatment. Since 2008, he has helped claimants obtain in excess of £1million. His current case load is wide ranging, but specific areas of interest include paediatrics, vascular surgery and ophthamology.
Mark lives in Horwich, spending his spare time in his role as a school governor, road cycling and watching his beloved American football team - The Washington Redskins.
Mark also holds an elected post on Bolton Council on the Children's Services Scrutiny Committee as an Executive Member.
Mark sums up his approach to work by stating: "having personally experienced significant injury in the work place and having undergone sessions of corrective surgery / rehabilitation, I fully understand the financial and emotional impact of a compensation claim. This places me at an advantage in empathising with a clients' perspective and in obtaining a positive outcome on their behalf."
Education: Degree in Law (Hons) at University of Central Lancashire
