Case report: Accusations of fraudulent personal guarantees defended

Peter Kaye recently settled a claim against 2 Defendants where claims were being pursued for circa £55,000 in respect of personal guarantees. The matter was complicated because there were serious allegations against the 2 Defendants as to whether the original transaction was in fact entered into fraudulently. The matter was eventually settled without Court proceedings by way of a payment of an overall sum of £15,000.
