Birth injury and obstetric claims

Obstetric claims by far and away are unfortunately the most tragic and often the most expensive claims for the NHS. Whilst gynaecological medical negligence claims are also of importance, there are considerably less of those than obstetric negligence actions.

Pregnancy and birth can be unfortunately traumatic. The management of pregnancy and the need for careful monitoring of both mother and baby’s condition together with the management of the final stages of pregnancy are crucial to the well being of both mother and baby.
