Agricultural and rural property

Agricultural property: Shropshire
Shropshire is a beautiful county and has a significant farming contingent present. The farming activities are diverse. Sadly, the sugar beet plant at the Allscott Sugar Beet Factory closed a few years ago but the activities in the farming community in the area vary from milk production, beef cattle, intense chicken farms, arable and potato growing.
The farmers would declare the volatility of the farming enterprise. World prices, supply and demand, the climate, the economy all can have a major impact on the livelihood of farmers. It has been stated that some 25% of farmers are either on low incomes or below subsistence levels and need to look at alternative ways of subsidising their income, whether by diversification; restructuring the farming business; sale or refinancing.
At Linder Myers in Shrewsbury we work closely with agricultural agents, accountants and the farmers in assisting them in achieving their economic and fiscal objectives.
