Age discrimination

Discrimination is one of the biggest problems in the workplace and forms a large majority of the claims at Employment Tribunals. Whilst it is not possible to reduce the risk of a complaint completely, a number of simple steps can be taken to significantly reduce the risk.

Since the introduction of the age discrimination legislation in 2006, more and more cases are being issued at the Employment Tribunal, primarily for treatment in the workplace that could easily have been avoided with knowledge and education.
