We collect four types of information:

  • Newsletter registration
  • Resource download information
  • Site usage information

Completed online enquiry forms

Completed enquiry forms are passed to the relevant legal department who will then contact you to discuss your query further. All information contained within the form is treated as confidential. Your details will not be added to our marketing database.

If you do not complete the enquiry form your information will not be stored.

Newsletter registration forms

Newsletter registration forms are either completed online or passed to marketing who will add your details to the newsletter mailing list. You will then receive the newsletter requested on a regular basis. We may also use your details to inform you of new products and services that may be of interest to you.

Should you wish to stop receiving newsletters simply click the unsubscribe link in the bottom of the email. Alternatively you can send an e-mail with ‘unsubscribe’ in the subject field to marketing@lindermyers.co.uk

Resource download information

Information given in return for access to resource downloads are passed to marketing who will add your details to the newsletter mailing list. You will then receive the newsletter requested on a regular basis. We may also use your details to inform you of new products and services that may be of interest to you.

Cookies and site usage information

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer by websites that you visit. They are widely used in order to make websites work more efficiently, as well as to provide information to the owner of the site.

In short, Linder Myers uses Google analytics and session cookies to make our website better. We use them to understand how visitors use and interact with our website.

2. What we will not do with your information

Linder Myers recognises your right to privacy and abides by the rules set out by the Data Protection Act and the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA).

We do not pass your information to third parties.

All the information stored through cookies is completely anonymous. None of the information stored about your online usage is associated with you as an identifiable individual. We do not connect these statistics with any information you might provide while using the site. We do not make any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website. This information is used by our in-house teams and remains completely confidential.

In line with SRA regulations we do not provide misleading or inaccurate information. Nor will we attempt to use your information for promotional or advertising purposes unless you actively subscribe to our newsletter in which case you will receive a quarterly update from us. We will not make unsolicited approaches to you in person or via telephone or email. We will never undertake cold calling.

If you are a current or former client receiving information from us about our services this is because you have opted to receive it or you are on our database to receive relevant information and updates. To opt out please email marketing@lindermyers.co.uk and we will remove you from the appropriate list immediately.

 3. How we protect your information

The internet is not a secure medium. Information submitted via any forms on the website is sent unencrypted to the website and emailed to Linder Myers staff in an unencrypted email. You should therefore ensure that you do not enter sensitive or confidential information into forms on the site.  4. Storage of Information

Some information you submit in forms on this site may be stored on the server solely to allow processing of your submission by Linder Myers.

 5. Updating your details

If any of the information that you have provided to Linder Myers Solicitors changes, for example if you change your e-mail address or if you wish to unsubscribe from our newsletter service please let us know by sending an e-mail to marketing@lindermyers.co.uk

6. Your consent

By submitting your information you consent to the use of that information as set out in this policy. If we change our privacy policy we will post the changes on this page. Continued use of the service will signify that you agree to such changes.

7. What happens when you link to other sites

Links contained in www.lindermyers.co.uk will lead to other web sites which are not under our control. We are not responsible for the content of any linked site. This privacy policy relates solely to the Linder Myers website and the websites that we own. You should always be aware that when you are moving to another site you might wish to read the privacy policy of that site about how they collect and use personal information.

Listing and linking should not be taken as an endorsement of any kind and we accept no liability in respect of the content. We cannot guarantee that these links will work all of the time and have no control over the availability of linked pages.

8. Virus Protection
