Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs)
A Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) is created to give an appointed person or persons the authority to make decisions on your behalf, should you lack the capacity to do so yourself. There are two types of LPA:
- a property and financial affairs LPA, giving an appointed attorney the ability to make financial decisions on your behalf
- a health and welfare LPA, giving the appointed attorney the ability to make decisions on your behalf about personal matters (but not financial matters)
Linder Myers can help you to create an LPA catered to your individual needs. We can also act as a Certificate Provider, signing and making a declaration to the Office of the Public Guardian that the person making the LPA was not forced to do so.
Why choose Linder Myers?
